About the event

Green Welfare Indonesia recognises that education also plays a crucial role in the implementation of environmental sustainability. The youth is also the key to make a real impact and change in the environmental sector, but some may not know how to due to the limited general knowledge they have regarding various global climate issues. Therefore, GWFestival 01 seeks to educate and promote to the youth of Indonesia about various current climate and environmental issues and how they can contribute to the situation in their everyday life where the audience can gain new perspectives and knowledge from various national and international changemakers around the world that they can put to use and be inspired to improve their community and country.

Green Welfare Indonesia sadar bahwa pendidikan juga memainkan peran penting dalam pelaksanaan kelestarian lingkungan. Kaum-kaum pemuda juga merupakan kunci untuk membuat dampak nyata dan perubahan di bidang lingkungan, namun sebagian tidak tahu bagaimana caranya karena keterbatasan pengetahuan umum yang mereka miliki mengenai berbagai isu iklim global. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari acara GWFestival 01 adalah untuk mendidik dan mempromosikan kepada para pemuda Indonesia tentang berbagai isu-isu lingkungan saat ini, dan bagaimana mereka dapat berkontribusi pada situasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, di mana penonton dapat memperoleh perspektif dan pengetahuan baru dari narasumber nasional dan internasional. Penonton juga akan mendapat memperoleh perspektif dan pengetahuan baru dari berbagai pembuat perubahan dari seluruh dunia yang bermanfaat bagi mereka, dan menginspirasi pemuda Indonesia untuk meningkatkan komunitas dan negara mereka.
